NURS 198 - Independent Study

This is an independent study course where students can engage in critical thinking to meet learning outcomes that have been determined by the student and instructor.  

Prerequisite(s): Permission of Associate Dean of Nursing.

Course Outcomes
 

  • Minimize risk factors that could cause injury or harm while promoting quality care and maintaining a secure environment for clients, self, and others.
  • Execute the nursing process based on principles of pathophysiology, evidence-based practice, and individualized mental health patient assessment.
  • Engage in clinical reasoning through nursing exemplars.
