IT 236 - Server Administration 5 CR
This course provides students with the knowledge and skills necessary to configure and manage Windows Server in on-premises, hybrid, or hosted environments.
Prerequisite(s): IT 231 with a C or better and IT 103 or IT 211 with a C or better, or permission of instructor
Course Outcomes
- Installation, utilization, and configuration of Windows Server.
- Installation, utilization, and configuration of DHCP, DNS, Directory Services, and Group Policies.
- Implement and configure a high-availability system.
- Identify, describe, and perform the practices of securing Windows Server for on-premises and hybrid infrastructure.
- Implement disaster recovery solutions based on a given scenario.
