OLS 103 - Professional Indicators 2 CR
This course gives students the essential tools for success in college, work, and daily life. Students learn and practice the five Professional Indicators that are the hallmark of the Occupational & Life Skills program: Advocacy, Initiative, Self-Improvement, Reliability, and Teamwork. Through structured instruction, hands-on activities, and collaborative projects, students build an understanding of each skill and begin applying it in real situations.
The course emphasizes self-directed learning and guides students to take ownership of their growth and recognize how these skills appear across OLS classes and in the workplace. By the end of the course, students will have a strong foundation in the soft skills needed to be successful in school and in their careers.
These skills will continue to develop throughout their time in OLS and will be demonstrated through proficiency in their internship. Grading: Credit/No Credit
