Course emphasizes academic reading skills. Assigned reading includes a variety of lengths, styles, and levels of difficulty. Course is linked with ELIUP 61.

Prerequisite(s): Admission into the English Language Institute and completion of ELIUP 51 and ELIUP 52 with a C- (1.7) or better, or permission of the department.
