Eastern Washington University (EWU) and Bellevue College have partnered for more than a decade to serve the BC student body and regional population with career advancement opportunities through high-quality baccalaureate degree completion programs.

B.A. in Business Administration with Major in Management: General Business
B.A. in Business Administration with Major in Management: Human Resources
B.A. in Children’s Studies: Child and Family Support
B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies
B.A. in Psychology

 

B.A. in Business Administration with Major in Management: General Business

Students first complete a BC Associate in Arts and Sciences Direct Transfer Degree (AAS-DTA) or an Associate of Business (AB-DTA/MRP) including coursework covering eight of EWU’s business program requirements.

This program is designed for students interested in learning the basic theory and principles of business that are crucial to effective organizational performance and communications across business disciplines.

EWU’s College of Business and Public Administration is fully accredited through the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business-International (AACSB)

A business administration minor is also available to students pursuing other majors.

B.A. in Business Administration with Major in Management: Human Resources

The human resources management option focuses on tools, techniques and methods used to maximize satisfaction for both the employer and employee. Topic covered include equal opportunities, safety and health, compensation, training and development, performance and appraisal motivation, job satisfaction and retirement.

B.A. in Children’s Studies: Child and Family Support

The curriculum of this interdisciplinary program provides a strong holistic background in the study of children, birth to adolescent. Designed for students interested in helping children and their families access early learning opportunities, provide case management studies and facilitate positive parent, school and student relationships.

A Child and Family Support Certificate can be earned by students pursuing other majors.

B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies

The EWU Interdisciplinary studies degree in social sciences provides a strong foundation in social science theory and research for career preparation, advancement or entrance to graduate studies.

  • Social Science- This track is designed for the student who is seeking a wide and varied curriculum which builds on a social science foundation.
  • Prior Learning- This track is designed for the adult learner and based on the philosophy that adult learners have acquired university level learning through career experience. Students earn college credit by illustrating their experience with a portfolio that is evaluated by university faculty.

B.A. in Psychology

The EWU Psychology undergraduate degree program is designed to cover the essential areas of contemporary psychology and offer opportunities for focused and specialized learning. Students have the opportunity to be actively involved with current research and internship opportunities in the community.

A psychology minor is also available to students pursuing other majors.
