Vision
Bellevue College will redefine higher education as a dynamic hub where innovation, purpose, and opportunity converge. As a national model for excellence, we will empower every learner, regardless of background, to shape their future, improve their industries, and strengthen our community.
Accreditation
Bellevue College is accredited as an associate and bachelor degree-granting institution by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities, an institutional accrediting body recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation and the U.S. Department of Education. This accreditation was most recently reaffirmed in 2019.
We are now at the midst of our 7-year accreditation cycle, in which we undergo a mid-cycle evaluation. This evaluation begins with a mid-cycle evaluation report describing our progress and efforts on mission fulfillment, student achievement, and programmatic assessment, and a section to describe our plans moving forward. Additionally, we provide brief updates on our progress addressing recommendations from our last full review. The next reaffirmation is expected to occur in 2026.
