Students develop reading, writing, speaking, listening, and using technology in the context of Social Science, Public Service & Community Engagement, and Health Science.
This is low beginning English for English Language Learners.

- Find the meaning of words using context, roots, affixes and knowledge of morphology in native language(s). (CCR Language Anchor 4.A: ELP 8.2)
- Write information with a topic, several details, and a conclusion. (CCR Writing Anchor 2A: ELP 3.2)
- Participate in conversations with diverse partners in small and large groups. (CCR Speaking and Listening Anchor 1A: ELP 2.2)
