ABE 13 - Math 6: Thinking Through Math for College Transitions 1-10 CR
Students meet class objectives through the use of intermediate algebra to solve problems. Students build their math vocabulary as well as note-taking and technology skills. Grading: BeDA
Prerequisite(s): For the department’s consent, attend intake session, complete required program math assessments. HS+ Students transcript evaluation.
Course Outcomes
- Use mathematical concepts to solve basic, non-calculator based, math problems.
- Apply knowledge of algebraic concepts and formulas to solve multi-step problems including Slope Formula and equation of lines. (CCR.6.EE.2c)
- Apply knowledge of graphing to solve linear equations.
- Apply knowledge of Pythagorean Theorem. (CCR.8.G.8)
- Solve Basic Data and Statistics Problems (CCR.6.SP.5)
