ABE 80 - HS+ Independent Credit Completion 1-10 CR
Students demonstrate competencies in one or more subject matter areas for high school completion based on state guidelines. This course allows adults to work at their own pace to show competency, prior learning, or knowledge in high school subject areas required for WA State HS+ Diploma attainment. Grading: BeDA
Prerequisite(s): For the department’s consent, attend intake session, complete required program assessments. HS+ Students transcript evaluation.
Course Outcomes
- Utilize the writing process to write academic essays documenting proficiency in content areas. (CCR.W.2C)
- Use computer skills and programs for academic purposes such as word processing, email, and learning management systems as well as applying information technology to increase background knowledge, access new information and enhance scholarship. (CCR.W.6C)

Use the steps of the writing process: prewriting, drafting, reviewing, reflecting on feedback, revision, editing, and proofreading (CCR.W.5E)
