PE 173 - Motor Learning & Assessment 3 CR
This course is designed to provide students with a basic understanding of the nervous system, motor learning, and its application to exercise and movement. Theoretical knowledge will be applied to real-world situations for athletic training, exercise science, and personal training.
Prerequisite(s): Instructor’s Consent Required
Course Outcomes
- Basic understanding of nervous system structures that pertain to motor learning and control.
- Learn the process of motor learning and motor control.
- Establish competency with real-world applications for fitness, strength/athletic development, and clinical applications.
