Designed for students with intermediate skills, Class Guitar III provides advanced group instruction, building on the foundation of Class Guitar II. This course integrates advanced classical and popular guitar literature, with a focus on refining technical skills, interpretation, and sight-reading proficiency.

Prerequisite(s): MUSC 136 or permission of the instructor

Course Outcomes

Identify the optimal left and right-hand fingering while learning new pieces.
Apply right and left-hand techniques to demonstrate comprehension of various strokes, slurs, arpeggios, and scales.
Identify notes on the staff and fretboard in different positions.
Reflect, evaluate, and assess technical proficiency during the process of learning and improving pieces.
