NURSL 121 - Nursing Fundamentals Lab 3 CR
Students apply foundational concepts of safety related to patient-centered care in the laboratory. Concepts of Quality Safety Education in Nursing (QSEN) are emphasized. Students gain confidence in articulating nursing priorities, developing clinical reasoning, and beginning reflective practice. Prepares students for clinical rotations. Grading: Satisfactory/Unsatisfactory.
Prerequisite(s): Admission into the Associate Degree Nursing Program.
Assess clients for changes in health status.
Identify relevant pathophysiology specific to client’s selected diagnoses.
Perform psychomotor interventions safely and effectively.
Appreciate and summarize feedback in order to make appropriate changes in behavior.
