Communication Studies Students pursuing an Associate in Arts and Science transfer degree may elect to complete an Academic Concentration in Communication Studies or Film Studies. To qualify for concentration in Communication Studies, student must:
- Take 15 credits from CMST 102 , CMST 202 and CMST 220 (previously COMM 150, SPCH 202 and SPCH 220).
- Take ~ 5 credits from any of the following 200-level Communication Studies courses: CMST 210 , CMST 230 , CMST 250 , CMST 280 , CMST 285 . Five of these credits will be counted as Humanities distribution or you may choose to have CMST 230 (formerly SPCH 225) count as Social Science distribution.
